CAMPAIGN TO RAISE AWARENESS OF BREAST CANCER

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 1, 2010) — ThompsonGas, one of the largest propane companies in the U.S., today announced it has joined the American Breast Cancer Foundation’s (ABCF) “Fuel for Hope” campaign to raise awareness of the importance of early screening for breast cancer in the communities served. Thompson Gas has added three pink delivery trucks to its fleet in 2010 and contributes one cent per gallon of fuel delivered to ABCF’s “Fuel for Hope” campaign.

“We are committed to raising awareness of breast cancer and educating our customers,” said Randy Thompson, president and chief executive officer of ThompsonGas. “Our company has a strong legacy of community support. By putting the new pink trucks on the road, we believe customers in rural communities will be reminded of how important early detection is in saving lives.”

The “Fuel for Hope “program provides direct financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured individuals for diagnostic tests to aid in the early detection and survival of breast cancer. The new pink ribbon truck supporting ABCF’s “Fuel for Hope” campaign is expected to travel an estimated 25,000 miles in 2010.
