For Customers Who Own Their Tank

All 50 States in the United States have adopted some version of the National Fire Protection Association Pamphlet 58 (NFPA 58) code as the law in the respective State. 

As a residential propane tank owner, all States require that you have your tank inspected and maintained in accordance with the laws in your state.

These residential propane inspections must be documented and repairs made by a qualified propane gas professional. ThompsonGas can take care of this for you for $44.95* or $4.50* per month. If parts are needed for a repair of your equipment, we will notify you of the cost prior to undertaking the repair.

If you would like to avoid paying this maintenance fee each year we offer to purchase your tank. Thereafter, ThompsonGas will be responsible for maintaining the tank.
