Here's a home propane grilling tip: Even on a clean grill, lean foods may stick when placed on the rack. Reduce sticking by oiling your hot grill rack with a vegetable oil-soaked paper towel. Just hold it with tongs and gently rub it all over the rack when hot.

Here's a tip for all of our home propane grillers out there: Higher grill temps don't always mean faster cook times! A lower temp allows for a more even heat distribution & makes your meat (or veggies) retain more moisture than if cooked at a higher temp.

This Flashback Friday photo comes to you from more than 100 years ago! In 1910 Dr. Walter O. Snelling filled a glass jug with gasoline from a newly purchased Ford Model T car and discovered that volatile vapors were forming in the jug. He began experimenting with these gases. After dividing the gas into its liquid and gaseous components, he learned that propane was one component of the liquefied gas mixture. He soon learned that this propane component could be used for lighting, metal cutting, and cooking. That discovery marked the birth of the propane gas service industry!
